A little help finding the right table for everyday living.
CHOOSING YOUR TABLE
1. How do I choose the right coffee table size?
Measure the space in front of your sofa and check the table’s length, width and closed height. Leave enough room to walk around it comfortably. For a lift-top model, also check the raised dimensions and the direction the tabletop moves so it has room to open without touching your sofa or other furniture.
2. What is the difference between Light & Airy and Warm & Grounded?
Light & Airy brings together lighter tones and visually open profiles. Warm & Grounded focuses on deeper tones and more substantial silhouettes. These are style groupings; compare each product’s dimensions, storage layout and specifications to choose the right fit for your room.
3. Do all tables have the same storage layout?
No. Compartment sizes, shelves and tabletop arrangements vary by model. Use the individual product photos and specifications to see which areas are enclosed, which remain open and how storage is accessed.
4. What materials are the tables made from?
Materials and finishes are listed on each product page. A wood-tone finish describes the appearance and does not necessarily mean the table is solid wood. If you need clarification about a particular tabletop, frame or surface finish, contact us before ordering.
5. Will the color look exactly like the photos?
Lighting and screen settings can affect how a finish appears. Compare the product photos with the written finish description rather than relying on a single image. If matching existing furniture is important, ask us about the specific item before you place an order.
USING THE LIFT TOP AND STORAGE
6. How does a lift-top coffee table work?
On a lift-top model, the tabletop moves on a lifting mechanism to provide access to storage or a higher surface, depending on the design. The opening direction and final position differ between models. Check the product details and follow the instructions supplied with your table.
7. Can I leave the tabletop at any height?
Do not assume the top is adjustable at every point in its travel. Use only the positions specified in the product instructions. A raised tabletop is not necessarily a height-adjustable desk, and intermediate positions may not be intended for use.
8. Can I raise or lower the top with items on it?
Follow the instructions for your model. As a precaution, remove drinks, loose objects and heavy items before moving the top, and keep hands clear of hinges and closing gaps. Do not force a mechanism that catches or feels obstructed.
9. What can I keep inside the storage compartment?
Choose items that fit within the compartment dimensions and stated weight limit, such as books, remotes or folded textiles where space allows. Keep contents below the moving mechanism and closing edge so the tabletop can operate without obstruction.
10. Does the tabletop have soft-close or locking features?
Only rely on these features when they are specifically stated for the model you are buying. A lift-top design alone does not establish that a table has soft-close, anti-pinch or locking functions. Keep children and pets away from the mechanism while it is moving.
ASSEMBLY AND CARE
11. Will I need to assemble the table?
Assembly requirements vary by model. Check the product listing for the assembly information and included components. Before starting, compare the parts with the supplied instructions and use the specified hardware and tools. If anything is missing or unclear, contact us before continuing.
12. What should I do if a part is missing, damaged or does not fit?
Email support@summitbeleap.com with your order number, the product name and a description of the issue. If available, include a photo and the part reference from the instructions. Do not force mismatched parts or modify the table to make them fit; contact us for the next steps.
13. How should I clean and care for the table?
Follow the care instructions for the listed material and finish. Use a soft cloth for routine dusting, wipe up spills promptly and dry the surface after cleaning. Avoid abrasive pads, soaking the surface or applying a cleaner that has not been confirmed suitable for the finish.
14. Can I place hot drinks or wet items directly on the tabletop?
Use coasters and suitable protective mats, and clean up condensation or spills promptly. Do not assume a surface is heatproof or waterproof unless that property is expressly stated for the product. Avoid placing hot cookware directly on the table.
15. Can I use the table outdoors?
Do not assume an indoor coffee table is suitable for patios, balconies or damp areas. Use it outdoors only if the individual listing specifically identifies it as suitable for that setting and provides the relevant care instructions.
16. How should I move a lift-top table?
Close the tabletop and remove loose contents before moving it. Follow the handling instructions for the model and use enough people for its size and weight. Do not lift or pull the table by the raised top or lifting mechanism.
BEFORE AND AFTER YOUR ORDER
17. Where can I find shipping and return information?
See the Shipping Policy and Return And Refund Policy for delivery coverage, timing, charges and the return process. Those pages contain the full terms; this product FAQ does not replace them.
18. Can you help me compare two tables before I order?
Yes. Email support@summitbeleap.com with the product names or links and the details you want to compare. It helps to include your available floor space, sofa height and preferred storage layout. Please avoid sending payment card details by email.
